If you are doing the alternate assignment for Semester 1 Week 8, use these three pictures. If you don't have a photo-editing program on your computer, I recommend pixlr.com (click on "Advanced") to edit them.

To save these pictures, right-click on the picture and choose "Save As." Save them somewhere safe so that you can email them, and your edits, to your teacher!


For EACH photograph, you should turn in three copies:

1. Copy #1 should be the original, unedited photo.
2. Copy #2 should be cropped from the original photo to make it a more effective picture.
3. Copy #3 have the color edited using one of the color-editing tools mentioned in this lesson, so that the final picture looks better than the original.

Along with your pictures, you must include a one-paragraph writeup that explains:

• What photo-editing program you used 
• Why you think the crop on each picture makes it look better than the original 
• What color editing tool you used 
• Why you think the color editing on the final picture looks better than the original picture.

You should turn in NINE pictures total to your teacher--three copies of each of the three pictures!!
